During the 2nd and 3rd years of training, fellows at Brown participate in a mentored research project. For some trainees, this will include laboratory training and for others this may include advanced coursework in biostatistics and epidemiology through the Brown University School of Public Health as appropriate.
Basic Science and Translational Research
Fellows interested in pursuing basic science research are encouraged to develop a project in conjunction with the many research centers and laboratories available at Brown University, Rhode Island Hospital, or Women and Infant’s Hospital.
